Giving back to our community is very important to all of us at the Viola Law Firm. We have a tradition of supporting local nonprofit organizations throughout the year by making financial donations and volunteering our services. We have recently renewed our annual support to the Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County and CORA (Community Overcoming Domestic Violence).
The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County provides free legal representation and advice to San Mateo County’s underserved populations. The Legal Aid Society of San Mateo County assists over 1,500 families each year with their legal problems. We are sponsors of the 19th Annual Legal Aid Golf Classic held at the Stanford University Golf Course on June 14, 2010. CORA is the only agency in San Mateo County with the sole purpose of serving domestic violence survivors. CORA provides free and confidential emergency, intervention and prevention services, including the county’s only emergency shelter and transitional housing. We are proud to announce our sponsorship to CORA’s annual spring event held on Tuesday, May 4th, 2010, from 6PM to 9PM at the Menlo Circus Club. All of the proceeds from this event support CORA and its programs.
